A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF DNA

    Ordinance re: Quadricycles in Downtown

On Thursday, October 10, the Savannah City Council will be considering legislation to modify the operating areas and activities of the quadricycle slow rides.  This legislation will limit their areas of operation to North of Charlton and West of Abercorn St.  Additionally, a separate piece of alcohol ordinance legislation will PROHIBIT the operation of the slow rides with any OPEN CONTAINERS of alcohol.  It is important that members of the downtown community show their support for this legislation by contacting the alderman as well as attending the Council Hearing on the 10th of October.

Please reach out to the Mayor and City Council members encouraging them to support this legislation.  If you are able to attend the Council Hearing on the 10th please do, so we can show our support by having a large turnout.

    THANK YOU!
